Delete your account

In the app (fastest)

• Open Finding Eve and go to Settings.
• Tap Account & privacy.
• Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away.

Without the app

Email zan.sheum@gmail.com from the email address on your account, or tell us the phone number you signed in with. Use the subject "Delete my account". We confirm who you are, delete the account within 7 days and email you when it's done.

What we delete

• Your profile, photos, videos, voice intro, voice notes and verification selfie.
• Your conversations with Eve, your onboarding answers and your deep-dive answers.
• Your messages show as "[deleted]" to the people you talked with.

What we keep, and for how long

• A limited record to stop banned or abusive people from signing up again. After 90 days your email address and phone number in it are replaced with one-way hashes and your name and city are erased. The rest is deleted after 2 years.
• Reports, blocks and bans that involve your account, for as long as they are needed to protect members and meet legal duties.
• Shared match records, such as the match date, stay with the other member.
