Finding Eve ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Finding Eve mobile application and related services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

- Account information: Name, email address, phone number, and date of birth when you create an account.
- Profile information: Photos, bio, headline, gender, religion, denomination/sect, city, and dating preferences you choose to share.
- Authentication data: Credentials from third-party sign-in providers (Apple, Google, or phone/SMS verification via Firebase).
- Communications: Messages, voice notes, and other content you send through the Service, as well as support conversations and feedback you submit.
- Verification data: Selfie photos submitted for identity verification purposes.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and push notification tokens.
- Usage data: Interactions with the Service, features used, timestamps, and session duration.
- Log data: IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, and crash reports for diagnostic purposes.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
- Profile data from Apple or Google when you use social sign-in (name, email).
- Phone number verification status from Firebase Authentication.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Create and manage your account and authenticate your identity.
- Provide matchmaking services based on your preferences and profile data.
- Enable communication features between matched users.
- Send service-related notifications, including matches, messages, and system alerts.
- Process identity and selfie verification to maintain community trust.
- Monitor, detect, and prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations.
- Respond to your support requests and feedback.
- Analyze usage patterns to improve and develop new features.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data in these circumstances:
- With other users: Your profile information (name, photos, bio, age, city) is visible to other users as part of the matchmaking experience. Messages are shared only with your matched partner.
- Service providers: We use third-party services for hosting (Railway), database management (PostgreSQL), file storage (Cloudinary), authentication (Firebase, Apple, Google), and push notifications (APNs/FCM). These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations.
- Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Finding Eve, our users, or the public.
- Safety and enforcement: We may share information to investigate violations of our Terms of Service, including reports of abuse, harassment, or fraudulent activity.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure authentication tokens (JWT), and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., resolving disputes, preventing fraud).
Messages between users are retained while the match is active. Reported content may be retained longer for safety review purposes.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Update or correct inaccurate personal data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data and account.
- Portability: Request your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
- Opt-out: Disable push notifications through your device settings.
- Withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

7. Children's Privacy
